Feeding in the Drought

Here at Amos Vale Herefords we are feeding 3 times a week on both properties. Things are desperate, but we have not had it as bad as some, we have been able to hang on to our breeding herd.

Calving is in progress and our next goal is getting our cows back in calf. The constitution and doability of the Hereford breed and Amos Vale genetics are showing through in these tough conditions.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all rural families doing it tough. Rain is just around the corner.
